England hero Peter Shilton reveals his wife has been sent ‘abusive texts’ due to his pro-Brexit beliefs and threatens to ‘name and shame the gutless’ trolls

England legend Peter Shilton’s wife has been bombarded with abusive text messages because of his pro-Brexit beliefs.

The furious former Three Lions goalkeeper posted a screenshot of the conversation on Twitter calling it ‘disgraceful gutless behaviour’ and warned he may contact the police.

A series of messages were sent to his wife’s business phone, in which the sender brands him a ‘Tory sell out with no mates.’

He also makes an apparent reference to Diego Maradona’s goal against England in the 1986 World Cup saying he ‘loves getting outjumped by midgets.’
