President Trump on Tuesday denied that he had “a series of mini-strokes” prompting an unscheduled visit to Walter Reed hospital in November 2019.

“It never ends! Now they are trying to say that your favorite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Center, having suffered a series of mini-strokes,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Never happened to THIS candidate — FAKE NEWS. Perhaps they are referring to another candidate from another Party!”

Dr. Sean Conley, Trump’s physician, said on Tuesday that the president “remains healthy” and will “remain fit to execute the duties of the Presidency.”

“I can confirm that President Trump has not experienced nor been evaluated for a cerebrovascular accident (stroke), transient ischemic attack (mini-stroke), or any acute cardiovascular emergencies, as have been incorrectly reported in the media,” Conley said in a statement.

CNN reported this week that New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt in his forthcoming book claims Vice President Mike Pence was “on standby to take over the powers of the presidency temporarily if Trump had to undergo a procedure that would have required him to be anaesthetized.”

The CNN story did not reference any reports about Trump having a stroke, but author Don Winslow claimed Trump had “mini-strokes” in August.

“One of the benefits of making videos that garner 5 million+ views is that you hear from a lot of people, including whistleblowers inside Trump administration,” Winslow wrote on Twitter. “I’ve received three communications saying that during his term Trump has suffered a ‘series’ of ‘mini-strokes.'”

#TrumpStroke was trending on Twitter on Tuesday as Winslow’s tweet got renewed attention.

Shortly after Nov. 16, 2019, visit Walter Reed, Trump denied the “disgusting” false narrative that he was there due to some type of health scare.

In a phone interview on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, the president insisted it was part of his yearly physical.

Marie Yovanovitch – After President Trump July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, it was reported to then-senior National Security Council (NSC) leadership that an NSC staffer had relayed information about the call to individuals outside the NSC — and characterized the president’s conversation as “outrageous,” sources familiar with the matter told Fox News.

The development comes as Fiona Hill, a former special assistant to the president who worked on European and Russian affairs, is set to give a deposition next week. Fox News has reached out to Hill for over a week with questions about whether she helped prep for the July 25 call or received any readout of the call.

Hill departed the White House in July, after working under ex-National Security Advisers H.R. McMaster and John Bolton.

The White House has yet to comment on the matter to Fox News.

Other top administration officials linked to the Ukraine situation are also set to testify next week. On Friday, Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. envoy to Kiev and someone President Trump called “bad news,” according to a memorandum of the telephone call with Ukraine’s leader, arrived on Capitol Hill for a transcribed interview with lawmakers and staff.

Trump and his allies have sought to paint Yovanovitch as a rogue employee with an anti-Trump bias. She was ousted in May amid alleged attempts by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani to press Ukraine into investigating Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son.

Former Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, who reportedly was involved in Yovanovitch’s ouster, said in a statement Thursday that “after several congressional colleagues reported to me that the current U[.]S[.] Ambassador to Ukraine was disparaging President Trump to others as part of those official duties, I wrote a letter to the Secretary of State to refer this matter directly. My entire motivation for sending the letter was that I believe that political appointees should not be disparaging the President, especially while serving overseas.”

On Friday, U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland announced that he will testify before Congress. The announcement came a week after the State Department directed him not to appear before lawmakers at a scheduled deposition. House Democrats on Wednesday then subpoenaed Sondland to appear before the joint committees to testify, prompting the shift.

A joyous Donald Trump returned to the White House Sunday, hours after his campaign was cleared of allegations of Russia collusion, and told a crush of waiting reporters – twice – that ‘America is the greatest place on earth.’

The president had already boasted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 22-month Russia probe ended with a ‘complete exoneration,’ slamming the entire operation as ‘an illegal takedown that failed’ and saying he hopes ‘somebody is going to be looking at the other side.’

‘There was no collusion with Russia, there was no obstruction and none whatsoever and it was a complete and total exoneration. It’s a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest, it’s a shame that your president has had to go through this,’ Trump said in West Palm Beach, Florida before he boarded Air Force One to return to Washington D.C.

Trump called the concept that his 2016 campaign aides would collude with agents of Russia the ‘most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard,’ and claimed the Mueller probe was illegal, an argument he has long made. ADVERTISING

‘Before I even got elected it began. And it began illegally. … This was an illegal takedown that failed, and hopefully somebody is going to be looking at the other side. So a complete exoneration, no collusion, no obstruction,’ Trump emphasized.

He also tweeted a victory message: ‘No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!’

Trump has yet to take questions from reporters about the final chapter in the made-for-TV scandal that has hung over most of his time in office.

Mueller concluded that Trump and his campaign did not collude with Russians in order to improve his chances of beating Democrat Hilary Clinton.

But the findings will not be an end to the investigations surrounding the president. Instead they likely signal a new stage that will involve round after round of congressional subpoenas and hearings as House Democrats probe how Mueller came to his findings.

The special counsel did not draw a conclusion ‘one way or the other’ as to whether the president obstructed justice, according to the findings, but left that decision to Attorney General William Barr.

Barr explained it was a joint decision between him and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein – who was in charge of Mueller’s investigation during the majority of its existence – not to charge the president.

He explained that the two men concluded ‘the investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.’

He wrote in his letter to Congress that long-standing Justice Department tradition of not indicting a sitting president had nothing to do with the decision.

‘Our determination was made without regard to, and is not based on, the constitutional considerations that surround the indictment and criminal prosecution of a sitting president,’ he wrote.
